Westside has a large heart for ministry. Below are just a few of the ministries that Westside has to offer. There is always something going on all throughout the year with the various ministries, so come check out what Westside is doing for the Lord!
Children’s Ministry (Ages 4 – 5th grade)
Active is a great word used to describe our children’s ministry. The children have many opportunities during the year to grow in the basics of their faith through Bible study classes, Vacation Bible School, and AWANA.
Student Ministry (6th – 12th Grade)
There are monthly opportunities for fellowships and trips in which teens can participate and grow. These include weekly Bible studies and worship geared towards students, opportunities to participate in yearly mission trips and FUGE summer camp.
IGNITE Young Adult Ministry (18-29)
Our young adults meet every Sunday morning at 9:30 for Sunday Morning Small Group time, as they dive into the Word and see how to apply it to their lives. On Wednesday’s, IGNITE hosts “Wednesday Night at Westside”, a time where they gather for snacks, fun, fellowship, and hearing and learning about how to find and follow Christ.
Men and Women’s Ministry
Men’s Ministry
The men of the church meet every Sunday morning for a time of prayer and devotion before our Sunday services. They plan service projects for the church and offer assistance to church members when needed.
Women’s Ministry
The women enjoy a wide variety of activities and events throughout the year. They have fun day trips, lunches and dinners, weekend retreats, and attend women’s conferences periodically.
Senior Adults
Our seniors enjoy weekly Bible study classes as well as a monthly class taught by our Lead Pastor. They participate in yearly trips and quarterly rallies within the Gwinnett Metro Baptist Association. They are an essential part of all our ministries here at Westside.
Music & Worship
Psalm 150 reminds us “let EVERYTHING that has breath, praise the Lord!” At Westside, we believe that music is a vital part of our corporate worship. If you enjoy singing praise to our Lord and Savior, there is a place for you in the music ministry at Westside. We are always looking for singers, musicians, and soloists to serve on our Sunday Morning Praise Team!
