Kid’s Club Starts Back
Wednesday, August 19, 6;00-7:30pm
The school year has began and Kid’s Club is back with another year of Bible study, Games, crafts, music, and snacks. Kid’s club is for children Kindergarten through 5th grade. The children learn memory verses and learn how God’s Word can help them in everyday life.
Brother’s of Westside Breakfast
Saturday, August 22 at 8:30am
All men including students are welcome to join the men’s breakfast on Saturday, August 22 at 8:30am. Donations will taken for the cost of the breakfast but don’t let it stop you from attending.
Senior Adult Bible Study – Thursday, September 3, 11:00am
The Senior Adult Bible Study is September 3. We are going verse by verse through the Gospel of John. We will be in John 18 this month. Invite a friend to join you and bring your Bible.
Labor Day

Just a note to remind you that the church office will be closed on Monday, September 7 in observance of a Labor Day.
Deacon Nominations
Sunday, September 13
The church will nominate new deacons to serve over the next three years. Please be in prayer about which godly men you need to nominate. The qualifications for the deacon are found in 1 Timothy 3:8-13.
Church Council Fall Retreat
Friday/Saturday, September 11-12
The annual fall retreat for our church council leaders will be September 11-12 this year. All leaders need to be at this meeting or send someone from their ministry team to represent them.

Westside Workday
Saturday, October 3, 9:00am
Our next workday will be Saturday, October 3 at 9:00am. This workday will help us clean and prepare our community center for the upcoming fall festival as well as help organize our storage space.
Fall Festival
Saturday, October 31, 6:00-8:00pm
The whole community is invited to join us for our annual Fall Festival. Come enjoy a safe, warm, family friendly environment with carnival games and free food from the grill. Everything is free and open to the public.
