On Your First Visit
The congregation at Westside is a loving, multi-ethnic, body of Christian brothers and sisters who seek to reach out to others in Gwinnett County (and beyond) with the love of Jesus Christ.
You will find Bible study/Small Group Study classes for all ages! We have classes for men, women, couples, teenagers, young adults, and children.
Our worship style could best be described as “blended” but overall the services are Spirit-led and genuine. You will feel the freedom to worship God through congregational singing and be inspired by Scripturally-based messages from our Lead Pastor!
Don’t forget to stop by our Visitor Center/Guest Reception room before you leave Westside for the day! It is a great place to meet with a staff person and talk or ask questions for a few minutes. We have a special gift bag just for you for attending worship with us!

Westside is located at 2925 Main Street W. on US Hwy. 78 in the heart of Snellville, just 1 mile west of the Hwy 124 Intersection at the corner of Hwy 78 and McGee Road across the street from the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market.

Rev. Dave Wilson came on board at Westside in 2021, bringing with him over 20 years of ministry experience in music, youth, and technology. Dave is responsible for keeping our facilities up and running, making sure our service broadcast works well, and leading our growing IGNITE Young Adult ministry. Dave is also active in the Christian Motorcyclists Association, and has spent many hours on the mission field bringing God’s work to bikers. He holds an Associate Engineering degree in Electronics from DeVry Institute (1996) and a Bachelors in Christian Ministry from Regent University (2022). He and his wife Joanne love working with Generation Next, helping them to find God’s path and direction for their life. Dave and Joanne just celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary, and are the proud “parents” of every student who has been a part of their ministry.
Worship Leader – Merci Freeman (merci@westsidebc.org)
Westside has been blessed to have Merci Freeman leading worship for us since November, 2023! Merci, and her husband Devin, are originally from West Virginia. Married in June 2019, both Merci and Devin have a desire for the ministry of racial reconciliation and discipling tomorrow’s leaders. Merci loves ministering through music and instrumentally guiding people to a posture of worship to God. With a powerful voice and a passion for praise and worship music, Merci takes us to the throne of God in worship each week. Merci and Devin have 2 children, Eden and Exodus.
Administrative Assistant – Stacie Yates (office@westsidebc.org)
Stacie Yates’ voice is often the first thing you’ll hear when you call Westside! Stacie is our Administrative Assistant, which means she handles the day to day operations of the church office. She also serves as our Custodian, which is a big undertaking trying to keep the church clean! Stacie is a born again believer, and is a vital part of the ministry and life of our church. Stacie has two adult children, Tommy and Alivia.
