Active is a great word used to describe our children’s ministry. The children have many opportunities during the year to grow in the basics of their faith through Bible study classes, Vacation Bible School, and Team Kid throughout the school year.
Children that come through the Children’s ministry at Westside develop a great foundation for their faith through Bible studies on Sunday morning through the Team Kid program on Wednesday nights that teach the importance of the scriptures by memorization and application. There are also great opportunities for the younger children to experience the love of God in their early stages from the Bible study teachers on Sunday morning and through children’s church during the morning worship.
Children from Kindergarten – 5th Grade The program follows the Gwinnett County School Calendar and will not in the summer months. The goal of Building Hope is to help build children’s lives around Jesus Christ. Each month the students will focus on a specific theme. The program includes Bible stories, Bible Memorization, and physical activities to reinforce the month theme. Snacks are available.
Parents, be sure to get your children involved in Building H.O.P.E. as they will be laying a foundation of Scripture in their lives that will last them for a while. Building H.O.P.E. is packed with games, music, and Scripture memorization. Building H.O.P.E. is for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Normally Building Hope does not meet during the Summer while school is out, but due to Sheltering in Place during COVID19 Building Hope will continue to meet during the summer months starting again on June 17 from 6:00- 7:30pm.
