The 2019 H.O.P.E. Mission Trip was Amazing!
The H.O.P.E. Team has returned from Ft. Belvior and Alexandria, Virginia. God blessed this team of 9 with safe travels and some amazing stories as they shared the gospel of Jesus Christ with those in the area. We praise the Lord for the 32 individuals that gave their life to Christ and for the the other decisions that were made during the HOPE Clinics.
Hamburgers, Hotdogs, and H.O.P.E. was a great success!
We had a number of church members out helping from everything to setting up to presenting the gospel this past Sunday evening. The H.O.P.E. team did a awesome job explaining the message of the gospel in a dramatic form. At the end of the night we were able to see 19 children, students, and adults give their life to Christ. The weather cooperated with us as well. It was a incredible night! If you missed it and want to see the HOPE team in action see the video below! (Thanks to Tim Cummins for the photo’s and video).
H.O.P.E. stands for Helping Other People to Eternity. H.O.P.E. began 22 years ago in 1996 under the leadership of Pastor Ben Lehmann. As a former college basketball player Pastor Ben took his love for Jesus and his love for basketball and paired them together in a unique way of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. Teaching the art of shooting along with techniques that will improve your game. The clinics focus on what it takes to be a great player on the court as well as what it takes to be a great player in the game of life. During the course of the basketball clinic the H.O.P.E. team members share how you can win in life by having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. H.O.P.E. awards basketballs at each clinic to those who compete and show a hard work ethic. The best way for you to fully understand what a H.O.P.E. clinic is would be to view the videos linked on this page.
